Clothing (Overview)

Headwear:
Summer:
M36 Field Cap (finnish military surplus)
             or (depending on the weather)
Särmä Field Cap (Polycotton M36 repro)
Winter:

Merino Wool watch cap (Varusteleka Särmä)
             or (depending on the weather)
             M36 Field Cap

Scarves/Tubes:
Obviously I use them only in the cold winter months:
             Merino Wool tube (Varusteleka Särmä)

Upper Body:

I will start with baselayer and work my way outside to the outer shell. How much layers I wear depends on the weather - temperature, rain etc.

Summer:
Layer 1: Coolmax T-Shirt (Varusteleka Särmä)
Layer 2: Bundeswehr turtleneck shirt (Bundeswehr surplus)
Layer 3: Clawgear Aviceda Fleece Jacket
              Layer 4: Bundesheer G3 Alpinjacke (G3 civil)
Layer 5: Gorka 3 Jacket (BARS)
Layer 6: Gunfighter Softshell Jacket (Helikon-Tex)
              Rain Apparel:
              Gelert Packaway Jacket
Gorka 3 Jacket (can also be used as rain jacket)
              Gunfighter Softshell
Rain poncho (also one of my shelter sheaths)

Winter:
              Layer 1: long sleeve shirt
Layer 2: bundeswehr turtleneck shirt (Bundeswehr surplus)
Layer 3: clawgear Aviceda Fleece Jacket
              Layer 4: Bundesheer G3 alpinjacke
Layer 5: Gorka 3 Jacket (BARS)
Layer 6: Gunfighter Softshell Jacket (Helikon-Tex)

Gloves:

For climbing or just while working in the woods: Bundeswehr Nomex gloves or Mechanix M-Pact
Winter: Same as with normal clothing, I layer my gloves to give them more insulation:
How much layers I wear depends on the temperature.

Layer 1: Merino wool gloves (Varusteleka Särmä)
Those gloves are great, because even when they get wet they will keep your hands warm
             Layer 2: Bundeswehr-Nomex gloves or normal ski-gloves
             Layer 3: Bundeswehr-mittens

Trousers:

Summer:
              Bundesheer M75 trousers
              Or
              Bundesheer KA03 trousers
              Or
              Gorka 3 trousers (BARS)
I don't have some special rain trousers yet, when walking during rain i prefer to wear the KA03 trousers, because                  they seem to be quite water repellant

Winter:
Same as summer, but for insulation i will add some long johns

Belts:

Bundeswehr canvas belt (width: 32 mm (1 1/4"))
love the closing system on this belt. The size of the belt can be adjusted to any precise length.

Gaiters:

Swiss gaiters with zipper (swiss army surplus )

Socks:

             Falke/stubai mountain boot socks
M05 combat socks (finnish army surplus)
